The Madison County Rural Health Council has partnered with the Walk with a Doc (WWAD) Program. WWAD is a national non-profit organization whose mission is to encourage healthy physical activity in people of all ages and reverse the consequences of a sedentary lifestyle in order to improve the health and well-being of the country.
The program has a proven track record of helping people commit to a healthy lifestyle through the encouragement of physicians and interaction with others interested in improving their health. The walks are open to the community. Participation is free and pre-registration is not required. The Walk with a Doc program will take place on one of our Monday Miles each month.
Walk with a Doc is open for all. Check out the following video for more information!
