What is Mobility Management?
Mobility Management is about bringing together the people who need transportation, with the people who provide transportation, to address community transportation needs. It’s making the most of existing resources, creating new services when needed, and looking at the issues through the lens of the rider. Mobility management keeps track of the pulse of the community and how various programs may be able to collaborate or combine efforts to provide better access to the available programs and services in the community.
How it Benefits the Community:
Mobility Management is multi-faceted and looks a little
different in each community based on their needs and can
include:
- Teaching people how to use the bus and where it goes
- Educating groups on available transportation options
- Assisting organizations with coordinating and collaborating on funding application opportunities.
