Mobility Management is about bringing together the people who need transportation, with the people who provide transportation, to address Central New York community transportation needs. It’s making the most of existing resources, creating new services when needed, and looking at the issues through the lens of the rider. Mobility Management keeps track of the pulse of the community and how various programs may be able to collaborate or combine efforts to provide better access to the available programs and services in the community.

GOMadison Volunteer Transportation (GMVT) provides essential rides to medical destinations for Madison County who are 60+ and non-Medicaid eligible at no cost to them. The program connects those with transportation barriers to volunteer drivers within the community.

To qualify for home-delivered meals, participants must be 60 years of age or older and unable to prepare nutritious meals or unable to leave home to obtain adequate services and have no friends or relatives that are able to provide necessary meals.

Seneca Fields offers a few transportation options for residents. The first option is with the Healthy Seniors Program, based off a qualifying health diagnosis, residents can access scheduled trips with the Seneca Fields operated van for shopping and recreation. The second option is a scheduled trip with Madison Transit System bus coordinated through the Madison County Mobility Manager.
